Reading the Meanings Beneath Things
For an exhibition held by the Laboratory of Design Morphology, I was responsible for the poster design. Reflecting the laboratory’s approach of moving between observation and experimental making, I designed the posters with a highly minimal and restrained composition, so that each author’s sense of what was compelling in their work could come through clearly.
Rather than unifying the visuals into a single image system, I created an individual poster for each work. By using the work itself as the main visual, the posters were designed to reveal each author’s particular perspective and point of focus.
